Tropica Tent-Web Spide

cyrtophora citricola

Description:

Is an araneid spider that occurs in the warmer parts of Europe, Asia and Africa. I think it is a common spider here because I have another spotting of this species in the Iberian Peninsula (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/170...)

Habitat:

It was found among ornamental plants in the city, which are called Tajinaste (very common plant in the Canary Islands).
