Common Brushtailed Possum

Trichosurus vulpecula

Description:

Largely nocturnal and arboreal, and an agile climber although it may also travel along the ground.

Notes:

We ahve 2 possum boxes on our property, made by my husband. The are mostly inhabited and appreciated all year round. They are a lovely animal.

Thanks Trudi and Mona. We have a couple of them that use our possum boxes and are quite friendly so they don't mind me getting up close for photos.
