Whoa! Isn't this very ironic? It is one of the items one attaches small importance to that brings great fortune. "Let me just put these ones up to be seen" was the thought before logging off, in the same vein I uploaded it to Flickr for ID weeks earlier. The 'alien' came along way when I went looking out for regular insects (butterflies, moths, flies, grasshoppers) on the hedge. It was stunning especially with lucid wings the fluffy tail (I'd never seen it before). Good thing I secured these fair-enough images before it vanished mysteriously into the thin air, just as it had appeared from it. Until now, who knew that there's such thing as planthopper?

Thanks everyone! (...KarenL and Argy Bee for extra details)
