This orchid has peachy-purpley flowers and thick, alternate leaves.


I found this cliff-residing orchid while hiking the Mau'umae Trail in the Honolulu area of Maunalani Heights (Oahu).

This seems to match the orchid published as a Dendrobium hybrid (antelope type) in the Bishop Museum occasional papers on page 2 of this publication:

There is quite a bit of interesting info about it in the publication.
