Blue-tailed Emerald

Chlorostilbon mellisugus

Habitat:

South America and Southern Caribbean islands. A bird of forest edge, savanna, scrub, cultivation and similar semi-open woodland.

Notes:

Saw at least one male and female in the shrubs around the hotel we were staying at. This male's wing feathers look a bit worn.
