Taxeotis perlinearia
This pale moth had a wing span of 25 mm. It rested with its wings flat on either side showing tan and pale wavy lines running right across from the middle of one recurved fore-wing apex to the other. The area posterior to these wavy lines was slightly darker. Minute dark spots were seen along the trailing margins of all four wings. About 4 minute spots were also seen just posterior to the wavy lines running inward from the apices. Thread-like antennae.
Spotted under bright night lights near a national park.
Both males and females show thread-like antennae in this species. Family: Geometridae Subfamily: Oenochrominae
