Description:

Pollen cones, seed cones, and new tips all present. The tips are edible and can be used in place of rosemary and also in teas, cookies, syrups, and other foods. The pitch is also used on wounds.

Habitat:

The most ubiquitous tree on the island. Found in neighborhoods and disturbed areas as well as in large forests.
