Red Aphelandra

Aphelandra cristata

Description:

I found this beautiful flower in our SAS rainforest. This flower is about 3 inches tall and 1 inch is it's width. It's color is kind of a mix of orange, red, and yellow. This would be the type of flower which invites several different insects and animals due to it's very bright color.

Habitat:

It's habitat is in a primary and secondary forest.

Hello.Could you add any other photo that is not such a close-up? It would help members in the community to know the plant better. Thanks
