Chalicodoma (Megachile) sicula
These bees build their elaborate nests from stone dust and sand. Big caves in limestone rock in Adulam reserve give them an excellent opportunities to build their home in small cavities in the cave wall. The colony in the cave is huge and you can even see bees in a queue at a nest entrance.
