Branta canadensis
Brown body with a black head and white on the sides of their heads. Makes the distinctive honking sound.
Water source deep enough to swim in with a place nearby with cover to sleep at night.
In a pond by my house. They were curious and approached me, but not close enough for me to touch them. When I got close to them when they were in the water, they became agitated and honked loudly and flapped their wings. so I backed of and left them alone
