Description:

Crithmum maritimum is a perennial growing to 0.3 mby 0.3 m. It is in flower from Jun to August, and the seeds ripen from Aug to October. The flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs) and are pollinated by insects.The plant is self-fertile.

Habitat:

It prefers dry or moist soil. The plant can tolerate maritime exposure. Tolerates a large amount of salt.
