Description:

Has long spikes at the tip of the leaves at bottom of buds (sepals).

Notes:

The smaller buds in the flower are round compared to the buds of similar tarweed in the Centromadia genus.

How come when I searched it on Wikipedia it was a genus when the description said it was a species? Would this be because it has multiple sub-species?
