Description:

Blue-grey upperparts with cinnamon underparts, a white throat & face with a black stripe through the eyes, a straight grey bill & a black crown.

Habitat:

Cedar stand of a large marsh.

Hi Mark. We have the White-breasted Nuthatch (Sitta carolinensis) in Iowa & Nebraska. Active beautiful little birds to watch. I had no idea how many different species there were until I looked up yours. Thanks for sharing.
