St Andrews Cross Spider

Argiope versicolor

Description:

This spider's body is about 3 cm long. The legs are about 5 cm. When the spider is still, its legs come together into four groups. Its abdomen is black and yellow. It has a grey head. The tip of the legs have a little yellow but it is mostly black. It has made a very intreicate web just like an orb spider would.
