Maliau Planthopper

Description:

This insect was about 1 cm long and 0.5 cm wide. It looked like a tiny leaf that stuck on the leaf of a tree. It has a light green color, so it was camouflaged. It has two eyes that were white colored with black in the middle of them. It walked very slowly with its 6 tiny legs. It has triangular wings, the back edge and corner of its wings are lined with dotted red.

Habitat:

This Maliau Planthopper was living in a park in Singapore. It was walking across a leaf of a tree. The climate there was cloudy and it was late afternoon.
