Caddisfly

Description:

I think this is a Caddisfly, with unusually flattened wings and a bark-like pattern on the wings. About 1.5 cm long. Order Trichoptera. These often look very moth-like with hairy wings and are closely related to the Lepidoptera.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light, Finca Argovia near Nueva Alemania, about 2 hours from Tapachula, Chiapas.
