Unusual Flowering Bract

Description:

The plant had small popcorn like white flowers with red tips emerging from a tall bract.

Habitat:

River Ravine of the Corazon de Fortin, Fortin de Las Flores, Veracruz, Mexico.

Notes:

The first picture was taken by my sister, Kathryn Weisberg and the second by my husband, Renato Zarate, while we were exploring the ravine.
