Also known as Crustaceans, Carid Shrimps, Cleaner & Rock Shrimps, Bruun's Cleaner Shrimp, Bruun's Cleaning Partner Shrimp, Cleaning Partner Shrimp, Cleaner Shrimp, Clear Cleaner Shrimp, Floating Shrimp, Red Arrow Cleaning Shrimp, Rock Shrimp, Cleaning Rock Pool Shrimp, Rock Cleaner Shrimp, Spotted Cleaner Shrimp and Jelly Cleaner shrimp. Found at cleaning stations on reefs or on the fish sometimes several at a time! Transparent with a dense red and white pattern. They feed on parasites, algae and plankton. Length - 3cm Depth - 3-30m Widespread Indo-West Pacific Often if a divers hand is near to a cleaner shrimps, they will hop on board and perform a manicure!

Habitat:

Carid shrimps occur worldwide in almost every habitat, from sea water to fresh water and can be found all over the reef. They are generally respected by other creatures, often sharing burrows and holes and working as housekeepers. They will wave their antennae around to attract customers, they then proceed to clean outside and inside the creatures mouths, gills etc,.
