Description:

The biology of this specie is quite well-known. Eggs are laid in small clusters of 2-10 eggs on saplings of the host plant Cecropia. The larvae go through five instars. Pupation happens on the host plant, and the pupae resemble dead twigs. ------------------------------------- La biología de esta especies es bastante bien conocida. Los huevos se colocan en pequeños racimos de 2 a 10 en árboles jóvenes de la planta huésped Cecropia. Las larvas pasan por cinco estados. La pupación ocurre en la planta hospedera, y las pupas asemejan ramas muertas.

Habitat:

Is found from Mexico to South America. are common in a variety of forest and secondary growth habitats from sea level to 1600 m.--------------------------------------- Se encuentra desde México a Sudamérica.
