Leaf Mimic Moth

Description:

A large moth that mimics dead dry leaves. A winter species that corresponds to our time of the year for dead leaves on the ground. About 3 cm long. A large dark spot is on the inner edge of the upper wings.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
