Xylocopa violacea
Whole black big bee with shiny black thorax and abdomen . Its a solitary bee . Female bore the dry tree trunk to lay the eggs that's why its name is Carpenter Bee . It has beautiful compound eyes. Suck nectar from flowers and produce a loud noise .
Found in my school garden . As there is spring it comes after winter hibernation.

Thanks Injica ! It is big in size having about 2-3 cm body length and produces a strong sound while flight .
