Giraffa camelopardalis (G.g.tippelskirchi)

Description:

Photos taken at TWO different years and location; First one at Serengeti National Park, Tanzania; second at Ndutu area, Tanzania. Tallest mammal; with long neck and legs; blotchy coat-colour pattern is unique to each individual; both sexes have horns; males grow a single medial horn on fore-head two main sub-species - Reticulated and Masai specie.

Habitat:

open grassland; Savanna - with thorny acacia trees.
