Description:

Leaves covered with silvery hairs. The plant was almost a meter across. Found in the forbidding scablands (pic3).

Habitat:

Spotted in the scablands of eastern Washington.

Notes:

Native to western North America from British Columbia to Arizona and east to Alberta and Colorado.
