Broad-billed Sandpiper

Limicola falcinellus

Description:

I nearly put this down as a common Sandpiper but there was something odd about it, the bill was too long and it had a downward kink, then I noticed that the folded wing-tips obscured the tail.

Habitat:

Lakeshore
