Spotting

Description:

A large grey moth at least two inches in length, very long grey and white striped antennae folded back, and a very weirdly pronounced thorax with ... shapes on his back ?

Habitat:

seen in an urban back yard on garden furniture.

Notes:

At first site a really large grey moth and on closer inspection a really strange looking moth... I don't know moth anatomy, but the shapes on his back look very weird.
