Though it looks very similar to a Spicebush Swallowtail, I believe this is actually a Black Swallowtail, Papilio polyxenes.

My reasoning behind this is this. Spicebush Swallowtails have more yellow on the body, including the legs. They also are missing an orange median spot on the wings that is there on the Black Swallowtails

Agnes, I looked at the link you provided which is a lovely photo. I believe that butterfly is misidentified (I don't have a Yahoo account so I can't leave a note for the phtographer). It is also a Black Swallowtail.

The wing pattern looks like that of Spicebush Swallowtail (Papilio troilus).
