It is beautiful, You found it in Costa Rica. (90 km northwest of San José) In the province of Alajuela, canton of San Carlos, and district of La Fortuna. Pura Vida!!

Is it right what said Miss. Sydes. This insect was found in the mountains of La Fortuna from Costa Rica. It's amazing!!!

I would imagine this moth has just emerged from its cocoon and has only just started pumping fluid into its wing veins to expand the wings - a process that can take a number of hours

JonBenach, did you see the moth fly? Something is different about this Moth, it's wings. How does it flies, with such short wings and large head and body? Some pictures of this moth I looked at have normal much larger wings down to most of the abdomen/back. Just curious about it.. : )
