close to 5", absolutely the longest and one of the largest caterpillars I have ever seen

I spotted this ginormous caterpillar while walking the street through a small village. I couldn't believe how big it was, then a local told me they get even bigger than the one I saw! Near the end of my time in Dominica I saw a few of these flattened on the road.
