Description:

Small butterfly, about 1.5cm long, Very deep rust brown colour wings underneath, wings appear slightly glossy underneath. Wings slightly rough edged at the back not sure if damaged or natural, body seems to be white, and a fine white edging around the wings also. Antennae are medium length with little white dollops on the ends.

Habitat:

Seen on wild flowers in grasses along the side of the road.

Notes:

I didn't actually see him, I was going to take a picture of the flower, and in so doing discovered this handsome creature and he stayed still long enough for me to get a couple of shots. I didn't get to see the wings open.
