Eurymeloides punctata
About 8mm in length, these hoppers had dark wings with two lateral white bands on the wings; the anterior band appeared more opaque. The pronotum and head were brown and mottled. A droplet of honeydew was seen at the rear end of one adult (pic#1). A couple of adults were seen with numerous nymphs (pic#3) at various stages of development. they were all attended to by ants that were attracted to the honey dew produced by the hoppers.
Eucalyptus tree - Manna Gum (Eucalyptus viminalis)
There were at least 5 different stages of nymphs in the one group. These are from the Tribe: Eurymelini

Thanks Leanne. I get so excited every time I see these little hoppers-the nymphs are cuter still !
