Description:

Red bill; red, black and yellow spotted bird; red face and white spot behind the eyes; black streaks on the top of head; yellow underparts; red- orange upper breast; wings and tail black with white and yellow spots; a necklace black with round white spots. Habitat:

Woodland, scrubby savannas and semi-arid bush country. They favour termite mounds in which they often nests.
