Description:

It is a species of brown alga endemic to the Adriatic Sea.

Habitat:

Lower rocks in mediolittoral zone. The Bay of Kotor was defined as one of the southernmost limits of Fucus virsoides

Notes:

The name refers to few algae "leaves" in the center of the photo. The algae is stuck between two mussels.
