Naked Goby

Description:

They are dark greenish brown on top, pale below, and have eight to nine dark vertical bars on their side

Habitat:

Found in brackish waters from the coast of New York to Texas.

Notes:

I was on a field trip sampling for fish. All the fish we caught were seined up, then we put them in buckets to look at them. The fish was only out of the water for a few seconds for us to take pictures, then were returned to the water when we were done.
