Description:

Tiny white flowers 1/4 inch, each consisting of 4 petals, each petal is partly divided (notched) so each flower looks like it is made up of 8 petals. Leaf is thin lance-shaped. The plant is covered with gray-to-white hair, so named Hoary.

Habitat:

Spotted at Tamarac near the Visitor Center. This plant grows in dry, sun, open fields, and along roads.

Notes:

This plant belongs to the mustard family.
