Ademas de ser preciosos, tanto los osos panda como los demas animales del mundo merecen estar con nosotros, ser cuidados y respetados,

Fun fact! An adult giant panda consumes as much as 40 pounds of bamboo each day, just to get all the nutrients it needs to survive – equating to a staggering 14,600 pounds every year! To obtain this much food means that a panda must spend 10 to 16 hours a day foraging and eating. The rest of its time is spent mostly sleeping and resting.

Great photo Bernadine! Can you please confirm where you saw this? I am not sure that there are any pandas in the Paracel Islands (unless they're in captivity). Might it be Sichuan province in China? I can see there's a Giant Panda Research Base there in Chengdu?
