Perga affinis
A large 'sawfly' was resting on a eucalyptus leaf on a very windy day; tarsi hooks well placed over the leaf margins. About 25mm long. Several specimens seen.
Public wetlands reserve (planted about 5 years ago?)

Thanks Lauren. I should have made a little movie showing how much the leaves were flapping and how well it hung on.
Wonderful spotting!
