Larus argentatus
Large, very dark gull. Legs are pink and there's a black tip to the bill. This is a first year bird, it will be white in a few months. Last photo shows it chasing a black-legged kittiwake, trying to steal its meal.
Saw it in the bay while on a whale-watching tour.
