Marsh Crane Fly

Description:

The wings of the female are shorter than the abdomen that has a reddish tip. It is the brown stripe along the entire leading edge of the wings that separates this crane fly from most other species. The wing length is approx. 20 mm.

Habitat:

Found in well vegetaded part of a park.
