•They are semiaquatic. •They have ability to regenerate limbs, eyes, spinal cords, hearts, intestines and jaws. •During the day thay stay in all kinds of undergrowth, but during the mating season in cool water.

Habitat:

Forests, natural gardens, parkland -I saw these newts in Hildesheim(Germany)
