Pseudautomeris luteata (Walker, 1865)
Pseudautomeris luteata is a moth of the family Saturniidae, whose males, like this shown in photographs, have got wingspan between 63 and 78mm, while the females are slightly larger, measuring between 79 and 92mm. Its larvae has the "Alibertia edulis" and "Emmotum nitens" as host plants. However, as described in a paper published in Neotropical Entomology journal, a small number of individuals has been found feeding on leaves of corn (Zea mays L.) in Piracicaba, State of São Paulo, Brazil.
I found this moth early in the morning, resting in a bush, in the Atlantic Forest.
The town of the coordinates that I gave for search, is not DUQUE DE CAXIAS, as reports the search map in this page, but PETRÓPOLIS.
