Fan-shaped Jelly Fungi

Dacryopinax spathularia (Schwein.) Martin

Description:

Light yellow-orange to orange jelly fungi. Some were rod-shaped, stems ~ 1 mm diameter; some rods were broadened into a spatula shape ~ 2 mm wide. None was taller than 7mm.

Habitat:

Suburban area on a mesic, tropical, insular lowland plateau.

Notes:

Spotted growing from the roof of mailbox kiosk.
