Araecerus fasciculatus
Coleoptera; Anthribidae; Araecerus; A. fasciculatus (De Geer, 1775). "Araecerus fasciculatus, the coffee bean weevil, is a species of beetle belonging to the family Anthribidae. Despite its name, it affects a wide range of stored products and some field crops. Through trade it has become cosmopolitan in its distribution." Wikipedia.
Spotted on String Beans (Vigna unguiculata) being grown, alongside other vegetables, in a rice field, in between rice crops
All of the photos above show females (because of the short antennae). I did not get any pictures of males.
