Green Pergesa Hawkmoth

Description:

This species of Moth belongs to Sphingidae family that characterized by its thick body, and green fur on its dorsal with longitudinal dirty-white/brownish strip and yellow-brownish to brown on its ventral, 64-80mm wingspan, forewings is green and dark brown of the upper and lower edges, also has black dot in each wings, whereas the hindwings is dark brown and has bright brown areas in the middle. This green Pergesa has long proboscis, and Sphingidae has the longest proboscis of any other moth and butterfly.

Habitat:

The place that has flowers with thin long floral tube yet has abundant nectar.
