Running Crab Spider

Habitat:

Woodland habitat in very weedy pasture.

Notes:

These are fast little spiders that are difficult to get photos of. They are much more skittish than flower crab spiders. Any movement, and they usually go underneath a leaf and down to the ground. They are much easier to photograph when they have captured prey. Perhaps they are more focused on holding on to it, rather than fleeing.
