Ants

Description:

These are common ants in the area. They measure 3 - 4mm.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 5 months into the 6 month rainy season.

Notes:

These shots were taken at night. I am not aware if they were transporting nymphs to another site or they were actively moving their next to another location due to the heavy rains in this period.
