Red Velvet Mite

Description:

Red Velvet mite as the name suggests they are crimson red in colour and have velvety skin. This was about 4 to 5 mm wide in size.

Habitat:

It was spotted in a semi dessert bushy area in northern part of India.

Notes:

They are found soon after first rains.
