Grass-Leaved Flag

Iris graminea

It is a rhizomatous perennial, with purple or violet blue flowers almost hidden by grass like narrow leaves, and a plum scented fragrance. We saw several in a part of the upper lakes in the darker parts of dense forest.

Plitvice Lakes (Plitvicka-Jezera National Park), Croatia.
