Spotting

Description:

It was one and one half inches from the bottom of the stipe to the top of the cap. The mushroom was solid orange on the stipe and gills and the cap was soft orange.

Habitat:

The fruiting body of the mushroom was in the middle of some moss near a stream.

Notes:

I only saw the fruiting body of this fungus, but not any of the mycelium.
