Description:

Bright yellow cone shape gelatinous fruiting bodies attached to a rotting limb. (.5 inch in size)

Habitat:

Spotted on a rotting limb in a dense, moist coniferous forest on the Olympic Peninsula.

Notes:

Found in western North America and Iran, the fungus grows on decaying conifer wood.
