Description:

Gonodonta bidens Geyer, 1832 showed proboscis stronger and with an apical armature appropriate to pierce fruits. Fruit piercing moths, have proboscis adapted to pierce the rind (primary) or just the pulp (secondary) of fruits to feed.
Lenght of forewing: Male, 18-19mm; female, 19-20mm.

Habitat:

Found in the Atlantic Forest, about 840m above sea level.
